I've attempted to update this blogger numerous times. i even tried to get a livejournal...but i've been too lazy to try and recount what has happened in the past three or so weeks =)
lets see...so i am finally out of the retail industry! after over three years i am finally free! free from ignorant bitchy customers. hanging up tonnes of merchandise. helping people for hours and them telling you that they don't have money now and they'll come back when the do. i think i'm going to hold shopping etiquette classes so we can teach people some manners. sheesh i'm a human being not a robot. ok. i'm bitter enough said.
so i am now currently working for a wonderful chiropractic office, where my employers actually said "welcome to the family" when i was first hired! its a wonderful stress free environment and the patients are so wonderful. and to top it all off i get free chiropractic adjustments, discount on massage therapy, weekends off, and a 10 day holiday in july! and of course i'm making more money!! i love my job! I LOVE MY JOB!!! i'm a receptionist and i work with my old coworker aynsley. so at least i know i'll have lots of fun once she starts! and my boss is giving me pet projects like creating a newsletter or changing the bulletin board just to get in more hours and not make the job so tedious and boring! wow...i love my job hehe
a few weeks ago dennis, roj, rom, jan, red, ran, trang, and i ventured off to st. malo. we had our pre-cabin 2004 teaser at roujin's cabin! it was so much fun! i think the day before we left we spontaneously made plans to head down. i was a total klutz...i laughed and coke came out of my nose, i dropped a huge glob of french onion dip on my black sweats, and then i spilled my coke all over my *ahem* crotch-el area hahaha. anyways we sat by the fire and it was so relaxing...until we heard a pack of wolves or coyotes in the distance...so we booked it inside. dennis, roj and i stayed over with the parents and got up early in the morning cuz i had to go to work. anyways...it was a fun day and i cant wait till our annual cabin trip...which i am the event planner for!
so i've been on a workout craze lately. i go to the gym at least 4 times a week and do pilates and free weights at home (those are just to embarrassing for other people to see me do!) anyways, i was semi-confident enough to wear my new bikini at the beach last week...so i think i'm doing pretty good. i'm motivated and i'm starting to eat well and i feel guilty for eating out when i do! YAY FOR ME! i'm starting to become a health freak and count calories...but i cheat every now and then!
today my first aiesec summer event was cancelled because of CRAPPY wheather...i hope the next event works out better...
there is so much more i'm sure...i've been just packing my days with hanging out with my friends and chillin and partying and salsa dancing. i've been so busy i'm losing track of time. its been great seeing everyone since schools out...but its hard to balance time between the different group of friends. i'm hoping it doesn't become an issue like that whole thing that happened last summer...i don't care how tired i am at the end of the day...its summer and i'll never get this time back...so that's why most of my days are spent jumping back and forth between my friends hahahah lets hope everything goes drama free this year and people will be more understanding and less assuming...
ok i've had two very interesting conversations this past week...all involving a certain someone...one convo was with a guy friend who was giving me flirting advice 101. hahaha i wish i could go into detail but i cant hehe and then another which i will post cuz i think its absolutely hilarious, however semi-edited for anonymity reasons:

ok so this week brings practice practice practice, for i have my first salsa performance with lesther in the past year for his grandpas birthday. family reunion number....one million and one. i get to see the ex-familia again. strange and awkward i'm sure...but thats what u get when ur still friends with ur ex...meh i still love them and they all love me...its hard to break up with the family, but what can u do??? then...more practice cuz stephs debut is coming up and man we need to get cracking on the rest of the choreography!
so all of my weekends from now until september are booked with aiesec events, weddings, performances, toronto, debuts, and cabin trip (hahahha i didn't say work yay!) i'm already so tired and its just the middle of june! thats the price u pay when ur having fun i guess...so far it has been an "s" free summer for me. no drama. stress free. finally. it feels ssoOoooOOOOooooooOOOoo good! lets keep it that way!
